Hello everyone! This year’s spring/vernal equinox Golden Labyrinth Hike will take place on the actual day of the equinox. Being a Friday we should get plenty of nightlife downtown after the hike for those that are interested.

Where:

When:

  • Friday, March 20, 2026 5:30 PM, departing 30 minutes later

What:

  • A moderately strenuous 1.7 mile hike uphill, 1.7 back down, making 3.4 miles total with a 750 foot elevation change.

How:

  • Dress in layers. You will start out hot, then be very cold. Prepare for wind/rain/sleet/hail.
  • Bring active footwear. Running/walking shoes are fine, though hiking boots are ideal. It can be muddy in winter & spring, dusty in summer & fall.
  • There are no bathrooms once we leave downtown, so please plan accordingly.

No problem if you’re a little late, just follow the route map and meet us at the top by sunset. Come 15 minutes early if you want to grab dinner and/or a beer before the hike.
